The k-education Project Office has been opened in September 2005. The Austrian Educational Coordinator is running the office on behalf of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Culture and KulturKontakt Austria.

In close cooperation with the Montenegrin Ministry of Education and Science and other organizations, the project office Podgorica implements education projects, which are funded by Austrian and international sponsors.

As regarding its content, the vocational education emphasis is on the subjects of economy and tourism. The focus lies on vocational training of teachers, but there are several other important goals as curricula development and equipment of middle schools which we try to achieve.
